Our Mission

Founded in 1995 by social change advocates Dick and Florence Nogaj, DuPage & Chicago South Suburbs (CSS) Habitat for Humanity has built homes for more than 27 families, partnered with over 32 local businesses, and earned recognition from community leaders and organizations for an outstanding commitment to service.

Since opening our first ReStore in Addison in 2011 and expanding to Oak Forest in 2023 and Naperville in 2025, our commitment to affordable housing in the DuPage & CSS communities hasn't changed. When you shop at ReStore or make a donation, you help us build and repair affordable homes for seniors, veterans, and other neighbors who need our support. Because we believe everyone in DuPage & CSS deserves a decent place to live: today, tomorrow, and for years to come.
