what's happening?
After 15 years of amazing service, due to changing organizational and retail needs, Addison ReStore will not be renewing its lease. We believe this transition will allow us to focus resources where we can serve more families more efficiently. Addison ReStore will close on June 27th, 2026.
what does this mean?
Our commitment to the Addison community, and our mission to provide affordable housing here, will not change. We aim to serve this area again in the future. At present, by transitioning our retail operations to Naperville ReStore just 30 minutes away, we can:
- Increase our donation intake capacity
- Allocate more funds to building homes for partner families
- Improve our operations to serve more families
- Create a seamless path forward for you, our donors, and the families we serve
what's next?
Your continued support would allow us to further our mission to provide affordable housing. We hope you'll celebrate Addison's legacy with us today, and visit us at Naperville ReStore in the future!
thank you for 15 great years!
Addison ReStore could not have turned everyday transactions into communities and kept usable household items out of landfills without unwavering support from shoppers like you.
Thank you for 15 exciting years of home builds, donations, renovations, events, and partnerships--for bringing us into your home and helping us build others’.
We’re so grateful to Marie, Bryant, and all of our Addison staff members for their impact on families in our community, and for the passion and purpose they brought to every day. We could not have created a 15-year legacy without team members like them.
For more information on this transition, please see our one-pager. Our next stop is Naperville after June 27th. We hope to see you there for a new adventure!
